Abstract
The influence of air, oxygen, nitrogen dioxide, cyclohexane, and tetrachlorethylene on the radiolytic production of organic and inorganic products of the freons CCl//2F//2, CCl//2F-CClF//2, and CClF//2-CClF//2 has been investigated. In the presence of oxygen, nitrogen dioxide and C//6H//1//2 especially an increase of the inorganic products (Cl//2, Cl** minus , F** minus ) was found. C//2Cl//4 on the other hand decreases the inorganic products. The effect of combinations of added components has been studied, too. Mechanisms for the reactions are discussed.
