Abstract

After liming a significant mobilization of organic material was detected in water extracts of samples from the upper soil horizons. Simultaneously, higher concentrations of lead and copper ions were found. On all experimental plots, aluminum is in organic complexes to a high degree in the O-horizon. In mineral soil we found significant concentrations of monomerous aluminum species.
