Eine Qualitätsanalyse der bundesländerspezifischen Bodenschutz-Konzepte zum bodenschonenden Forstmaschineneinsatz

Since the soil protection law is in power soil, beside water and air, became legally protected. Most of the German federal states have best management recommendations for environmentally sound machine operations in the forest. According to seven criteria these management recommendations were evaluated in order to enlight their quality in terms of soil protection. It was found, that their quality differs considerably from state to state, as well as the application of the single criteria themselves. The present state of the recommendations is insufficient in order to serve the goal of soil protection, as it is demanded by the legal and social regulations. Especially the criteria "soil moisture" generally lacks of considerable quality in all recommendations. By the synthesis of best applied criteria a well improved management recommendation could immediately be established, which fulfils quite well the legal and social requirements. On a midterm run efforts have to be undertaken in order to strengthen the "soil moisture" criteria.
