Abstract
For the all-electric supply of large aadministrative and office buildings, a concept is presented that permits efficient air-conditioning by combining a regenerative heat exchanger for heat recovery from the return air with a refrigerating machine that can be used as a heat pump. This reduces power consumption for heating in winter to 15% of the total heat requirement of the building on the system design day when the air-conditioning system is in operation.
