Effects of short-range correlations on the quasielastic scattering of electrons

Abstract

Coincidence cross sections for (e, e'p) reactions are evaluated within the framework of a single-particle model modified by two-particle short-range correlations. It turns out that correlations start to become important in the region of high recoil momenta (qR {greater-than or approximate} 200 MeV/c) of the residual nucleus.
