Abstract

A round baler was equipped with strain gages and a load cell for measuring the bale weight in the baler. First trials were carried out in stationary mode. Afterwards the system was tested for weighing on-the-go. DGPS was employed to detect the track of the tractor and the field weight data sample locations. Finally, yield maps were created.
