Abstract

The use of identification techniques to determine the parameters and shaft speed of a three phase induction machine is discussed. The identification procedure is based on a δ-operator dynamic machine model. The proposed identification algorithm is of a linear kind. The machine parameters and the shaft speed are obtained as the solution of a standard least squares problem. Simulation as well as experimental results concerning the application of the proposed algorithm to the modeling of a 1.5kW three phase induction machine are presented.
