Dual-resonance frequency response in injection-locked 1.55 μm VCSELs

Abstract

In this study, 1.55 μm VCSELs with slightly detuned polarisation modes are injection-locked with controlled polarisation angles. A dual-resonance frequency response is observed, and is explained with a two polarisation-mode injection-locked rate equation model.
