title = "Domestic Solid Waste Disposal Logistic Optimization Using Internet of Things Technologies",
abstract = "The article analyzes the feasibility of using the most common technologies for the transmission of low energy consumption and long range LPWAN (Low-power Wide-area Network) in Ukraine to optimize the logistics of solid waste (MSW). The comparison of transmission technologies is carried out taking into account the features and requirements for solid waste management systems. According to the evaluated parameters, Nb-IoT technology was selected as the most suitable for use in similar systems in Ukraine and the appropriate architecture of the system for optimizing the logistics of solid waste removal was proposed. A practical study of the efficiency of the system of optimized separate removal of solid waste on the example of the district of Kyiv. The results of the study showed that the cost of solid waste removal can be reduced by up to 37.3% in the case of using modules for monitoring the filling of solid waste containers (in particular using Nb-IoT technology).",
