Abstract
The dimensioning of the plant size is one of the first steps in the factory design process and is therefore very important for the further planning and implementation steps. While the predominant approach to dimensioning is aimed at the area of production, indirect areas are gaining in importance due to continuous structural shifts. This paper presents a fuzzy-logic based approach to help with the dimensioning of indirect areas.
