Abstract
The wind industry has become a major industry in Germany over the last 25 years. Along the value chain, many companies are internationally successful. However, the competitive pressure due to new procurement regulations and international competitors is very high. One solution is to increase the efficiency of companies in Germany through the use of software and digitization. This is intended to lower the levelized costs of electricity (LCOE) of wind energy. The developed maturity model can support companies to identify efficiency potentials as well as cost reduction potential.
