Abstract

The high variance of products and services, resulting from customer-specific requirements and technical possibilities, leads to complexity in products and company processes. Changes in complex systems generate immense effort, which hardly remains manageable in the daily business of manufacturing companies. The method-supported management of technical changes is a proven approach to cope with this situation. The following contribution presents a three-step procedure for digitizing change management based on a practical application in automobile production.
