Abstract

Digital Twin for Reactive Disassembly Planning Requirements for the Abstraction Level and System Boundary. The inefficiency and uncertainty of disassembly are barriers to scaling the industrial circular economy. Data-driven, reactive disassembly planning can reduce the barriers by flexibly adapting disassembly plans to new information about products, processes and resources during disassembly. It requires a digital twin of the disassembly system. The article derives the necessary level of abstraction and the system boundary of such a digital twin.
