Abstract

Various factors can influence the results of the toxoplasma immunofluorescence test (IFT). A comparative study revealed differences of up to 3 dilution stages with different microscopes. The necessity for standardization is emphasized, and reference is made to the recently established recommendations for the performance of the toxoplasma IFT.
