Der Auftrag der FIG im 21. Jahrhundert - Einige Anmerkungen aus deutscher Sicht

Surveying profession is-closely linked to the economic growth of countries. Facing the present economic crisis in many European countries, especially in Germany, the issue if and in which areas innovations are necessary will be addressed. The FIG as the worldwide federation of surveyors can demonstrably make important contributions in many areas of innovation. In the sense of a fair competition FIG also contributes to more economic growth and prosperity. Thereby the sociopolitical acceptation and attractiveness of the surveying profession is also enhanced. The concluding remark points out a lot of advantages for German colleagues that result from the strong present commitment of the DVW within FIG.
