Abstract

More and more new vehicle concepts are flooding the market in new areas worldwide. However, existing vehicle concepts cannot simply be transferred to other markets, due to the different user requirements and existing boundary conditions. For example, Africa is a continent with one billion people without its own established automobile market. This paper deals with the definition of load collectives for the chassis and frame for a customized vehicle development and testing for the region Sub-Saharan Africa.
