N2 - The quest for an ideal floor which compensates the motions of a person walking in the virtual environment exists since the first human entered the virtual space. In this paper, an advanced model of a belt array platform, the Cyberwalk, is introduced. The prototype platform shows the increased performance of the system: High speed motion in both directions, almost unlimited upscalability of the system, synchronous speed of the belts, high stiffness and high load on the whole surface.
