Abstract

The authors regret that the following sentence was published with an error. Correct sentence follows: “To this end, mice were fasted overnight and, after a basal blood sample was drawn, intraperitoneally injected with 1 mg/kg alanine solution in 0.9% saline.” should be corrected to “To this end, mice were fasted overnight and, after a basal blood sample was drawn, intraperitoneally injected with 1 g/kg alanine solution in 0.9% saline.” The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
