Abstract
An error has occurred regarding data in Table 3 of the above named article. The actual content of U–U–U-type triglycerides in Ecuadorian palm oil is not, as given in the article, 10.07 ( ±0.13) %. It adds to 11.59 ( ±0.23) %. The reason for this erroneous declaration was a missing link of the triglyceride LLO in an Excel sheet summarizing the raw data of the HPLC analysis of the triglycerides. By the enhanced values of U–U–U-type TG also the statistical significance levels have changed and have been amended in the revised table. The new content of U–U–U-type TG in Ecuadorian palm oil does not affect scientific statements and hypotheses made in the article. The authors apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
