Abstract

A few errors were noticed after publication of this paper. The mathematical symbol for Group A of Tables 2, 3 and 4 should be the 'less than or equal to' symbol. The headers should read 'Group A surgery ≤1 year of age (n =..)'. Legend of Figure 2 should read: 'Figure 2: The Kaplan-Meier estimation of survival. Number of patients observed at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years after surgery were 23, 19, 5, 5, 3 and 1, respectively; dark line: Group A (surgery ≤1 year of age); grey line: Group B (surgery >1 to 18 years). Equality of survival: log-rank P-value: 0.343, Breslow P-value: 0.173, Tarone-Ware P-value: 0.209'. Part of the legend of Figure 3 is missing. The legend of Figure 3 should read: White box: Group A surgery ≤1 year of age; Meshed box: Group B surgery >1-18 years of age). LVOT gradient (mmHg) measured on transthoracic echocardiography; *P = 0.004. LVOT: left ventricular outflow tract.
