Abstract

Control of diesel fuel consumption as an aspect of resource saving in hybrid uninterruptible power systems was considered. Basic block scheme of a hybrid uninterruptible power system was proposed. Features of operation of diesel generator and storage battery were considered. An expression for calculation of acceleration and deceleration mode of diesel generator at the minimum consumption of diesel fuel was obtained. Expression takes into account not only the diesel characteristics of the fuel consumption, but also efficiency factor of charge and discharge power converters. An example solution for generator HATZ 1D81C was given.
