Abstract

This paper discusses active vibration control of flexible rotors. First, it will be shown that the description of the system as a 'hybrid multibody system' enables systematic and computer aided derivation of the equations of motion. Secondly, the effectiveness of the used actuators acting via bearing housings are investigated by means of controllability criteria. Then several linear controllers are discussed. In detail a state feedback control, a modal state control and a local output control are introduced.
