Abstract

In this study we present new electrical conductivity measurements for cesium up to its critical point and the first measurements of the static structure factor S(Q) for liquid cesium up to 1820 K at conditions near the liquid-vapour coexistence curve, corresponding to an expansion of the liquid from 1.8 gcm-3 to 0.8 gcm-3 (critical point of Cs: Tc=1924 K, Pc=92.5 bars, pc=0.38 gcm-3).
