Abstract

A method to compress quantum measurements to produce a minimum amount of data was discussed. The quantum measurment compression was analyzed with respect to a certain positive operator-valued measure (POVM). It was shown that the amount of data produced by the measurement to the Von Neumann entropy of the ensemble could be reduced without a decrease in the amount of knowledge provided by the quantum state measurements. The measurements provides a precise and model independent measure of the amount of knowledge that is obtained about a quantum states.
