Abstract

Reduction methods for multiphysical models require to find representative bases for the problem. For thermo-mechanical models three approaches are compared: uncoupled modes, an augmentation of the basis to describe coupled behavior quasi-statically and a balancing method in state-space from system theory. All approaches are applied to a cantilever beam model.
