Abstract
The fabrication of highly resistive lipid bilayers on semiconductor electrodes was done. The lipid bilayer was deposited by fusion of vesicles. The membrane resistance was measured by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results showed that the impedance spectroscopy over a wide frequency range yielded the membrane resistance up to 1.0 Mωcm2, and the capacitance was around 0.7×10-6F cm-2.
