Abstract
New experimental techniques are presented and results are discussed on vibrational dephasing phenomena when picosecond laser pulses are used for time-resolved coherent antistokes and stokes Raman spectroscopy yielding direct information on homogeneous and inhomogeneous broadening factors. Recent experiments are presented to illustrate the state of the art. Refs.
