Abstract
The analogy between the isoelectronic groups Me3Si and Me2(H3B)P exists not only on paper. For example, the Me3SiCl analogue 1 is stable, distillable and relatively insensitive to moisture; on treatment with Ag2O it affords the air‐ and water‐stable compound 2 corresponding to disiloxane.
