Abstract

Polyphosphate composites were characterized based on the intermediate temperature. Ammonium polyphosphate electrolytes were prepared by the sol-gel method and evaluated for use as proton conductive materials at intermediate temperatures. It was found that the surface morphology of the ammonium silicon polyphosphate composite is devoid of crystal appearance. Results show that the conductivity increases with the rising temperature up to 300 °C, but it passes through a maximum above this temperature and then decreases with rising temperature.
