Abstract

The evolution of computer application in CAD is changing from the usage of single CRT's to independent CAD/ CAM-workstations. This development ist accompanied by the effort of integrating all computer activities involved in the production of goods. The resulting problems and possibilities for machinery manufacturing companies are outlined.
