Abstract
Angular distributions for the Ca48(C12, B11)Sc49 and Ca48(C12,C13)Ca47 transfer reactions at Elab=45 MeV are presented. The data are analyzed in the context of the effective Q-value model, which has previously been applied successfully to O16 induced reactions on Ca48. The model accounts equally well for the observed behaviors of the C12+Ca48 system, provided the influence of the strong inelastic transition to the first excited 2+ (4.43 MeV) state in C12 is taken into account. NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ca48(C12, B11)Sc49, Ca48(C12, C13) Ca47 at Elab=45 MeV; angular distributions measured; DWBA, effective Q-value model analyses.
