Abstract
We calculate the four basic parameters relevant for B0 - B0 mixing and CP violation (x = ΔM Γ, y = ΔΓ 2Γ, η = (1 - εB) (1 + εB), and sin 2φ{symbol} of Carter and Sanda) as functions of mt, τB and R (the top quark mass, the B-meson lifetime and Γ(b → u Γ(b → c) respectively. We give also predictions for various quantities which exhibit B0 - B0 mixing and CP violation. Many of these quantities are sensitive functions of mt, τB, R and of the "bag" parameter B. We find that certain charge asymmetries in on-shell Bd decays are sizeable. Also the same-sign dilepton production resulting from Bs0 - Bs0 mixing turns out to be substantial.
