A parallel hybrid drive train consisting of an ic-engine, an electric motor and a wide ratio ranged CVT is designed at the TU Munich. Objects of the concept are the reduction of fuel consumption and emissions as well as the possibility to drive electrically with zero emission. A charging of the batterie by the mains is not necessary. The paper shows the operation stategy and the control concept.
