Abstract
Optimization of business processes is carried out between changing external and internal frame conditions. Due to a permanent increase of profit expectations a continuous pression for process adaptation is generated. The question is, which methods can be applied for best practice process identification and transformation to own company's processes. The solution consists of two pillars. First is a company-spanning process and performance indicator based audit. Second is the software tool ProVSM, which supports process documentation, modelling and simulation.
