Abstract
The present revision of the first mapping from 1928/35 of the Illampu massif of the Cordillera Real/Bolivia attempts: 1) to document the glaciological changes which occurred during the last 50 yr in the tropics; 2) to complete unmapped areas (caused through terrestrial photogrammetry of the original map) using aero-photogrammetric methods; 3) to serve official Bolivian cartography as a model for an expressive high mountain relief representation which they aspire to in basic maps by using representation techniques which are adequate in scale. -from English summary
