Abstract

The following study presents the evaluations of the CVUA Stuttgart, Germany concerning porcine bacteria and their resistances to antibiotics, particularly the various E. coli monotypes but also Pasteurella multocida, Staphylococci (St. hyicus and St. aureus), Bordetella bronchiseptica, Hämophilus spp. (HPS, APP), Salmonella sp., Arcanobacterium (Actinomyces, Corynebacterium) and Streptococci (α-Sc, β-Sc.). Antibiograms were done in a conventional manner using 10 to 11 antibiotics. A total of 586 antibiograms, 58% with isolates of E. coli, were evaluated. Figures and findings are presented by tables and graphics and discussed.
