Automated quantification of pattern anisotropy: AMOCADO - Automation of the modified Cantor dust method

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

Quantification of pattern anisotropy gives insight into pattern forming processes and facilitates comparison between nature, experiments and simulations. For efficient analyses, automated procedures for these operations are required. AMOCADO, a MATLAB-based implementation of the modified Cantor dust method which allows for a time-efficient analysis of the pattern anisotropy in raster images, is introduced and possible fields of application are indicated.
