Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution claims for a stronger networking between all objects within logistics and production processes in order to increase the flexibility and efficiency. Therefore the automatic identification of objects is required. Hence an approach for developing concepts for the automatic identification is proposed. To clarify the introduced concepts are demonstrated at the example of an cloud-based management system for machining tools.
