Abstract
Solutions to a Dirichlet problem are addressed. The asymptotic behavior of the solutions up to the problem is studied in the case that Ω is a ball and f is a radially decreasing symmetric function. It is shown that previously obtained results can be proved using a variational approach that allows to get new information on a given limit case.
