Abstract
Arthroscopy now enables the following minimally-invasive therapeutic procedures to be carried out in gonarthrosis: lavage, debridement, laser therapy, anterograde drilling, microfracturing, abrasion arthroplasty and osteochondral transplantations. Arthroscopy is a useful supplement to surgical treatment of gonarthrosis. In many cases arthroscopic procedure are time-buying measures used to delay more invasive procedures. Associated morbidity is low, and subsequent reconstructive Surgery is not excluded.
