Abstract

The inverse sandwich complex 1 with η⁶‐coordination of the arene molecule is formed on reaction of AsBr₃ and C₆Et₆, in the molar ratio 2:1. The stability of the adduct is presumably due to an interplay of weak charge transfer and van‐der‐Waals interactions. (Figure Presented.)
