Abstract
The paper presents an attempt to formulate a new approach to the problem of predictive assessment of the reliability indices of different types of electric vehicles based on a universal stochastic model of the operations of electric drive vehicle, which practically can be applied to implement of modern maintenance strategies for any kind of electrical transport to improve its reliability, safety and fault tolerance.
