Abstract
Horizontal cooperation between companies is increasing. Consequently, the business processes and underlying IT systems of the cooperating companies need to be coordinated. To address typical challenges that occur during this alignment, the application and development of a shared Business Capability Map (BCM) has been investigated. Based on the objectives and the form of cooperation, this dissertation presents use cases and a reference process for the development of an interorganizational BCM.
