Abstract

A method for the generation of specification models for model-based test processes is presented. In combination with methods for test generation and prioritization, prioritized test cases can be created, which can be used for testing mechatronic systems on component or system level. a modular test adapter allows test execution for different protocols. The result is an efficient test process, in which the effort for the creation of necessary models as well as for test execution can be reduced. Using an example from industrial automation, the application of the methods is presented and evaluated.
