Abstract

Energy efficiency of intralogistical systems is an important issue for reasons of ecology, economy and society. The energy demand of the whole intralogistical system is already decisively determined in the planning. To allow inclusion of the energy demand in the variant selection during the planning phase, this demand has to be identified with low expenditure. For this purpose, analytical models are developed to determine the annual energy requirement for both continuous conveyor systems and stacker cranes.
