Abstract

Highlights Analysis of the sensitivity of output quantites on design parameters. Differences in the sensitivity of P2D and three-dimensionally resolved models. Comparison of model output for extreme values of design parameters. Identification of origins of devations between the models. Recommendations which models should be used in which parameter ranges.
