Abstract

This paper presents an integrated approach to analyze change-situations that occur during the development of production systems to support a holistic estimation of potential effects of engineering changes on the system itself as well as on future phases of the entire system lifecycle. For the analysis of change influences within the system, a SysML based methodology is provided, while the other lifecycle phases are equipped with checklists that support an expert estimation. The proposed integrated approach is applied to a production system for evaluation purposes.
