An accurate fast-algorithm for analyzing and optimizing cylindrically stratified radomes

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

An accurate and fast algorithm to analyze and optimize cylindrically stratified radomes is presented. A key point in the algorithm is the calculation of Green's function. A spectral-domain approach connected with a Generalized Transmission Line Model (GTLM) is used. Using this model an asymptotic approximation to perform a fast far field calculation is given. Based on far field approximation a wide range frequency optimization of the radome is also given.
