Aerosol chemistry: where are needs and possibilities?

Aerosol Chemistry was driven in the 70s by the observation of acidic rain. The open question now is whether aerosols diminish or increase the ambient temperature. This article presents an overview of the open fields for air chemists regarding this subject.
