Abstract

This paper presents novel self-identification methods which characterise accurately the nonlinear voltage distortions of a voltage source inverter without additional test equipment. The proposed methods are compared with a conventionally used identification method. The results have shown an improved measurement accuracy over the conventional method which makes it together with its simplicity particularly suitable for high performance industrial applications.
